Phase 2 of The House Behind The Trees ~ The downstairs #TeelsBuildaHouse

So we are starting the downstairs ... I HATE to say basement because we had a basement in our old home, where you opened a door and went down stairs separated from anything else. It was a finished basement complete with a bedroom, craft room, family/game room and we spent a lot of time there ~ our oldest son moved down there in jr high and stayed through high school ... until we finished the master suite in the attic then he moved back up to the bedroom floor with his brother and sister.  So here our downstairs is open to the rest of the house, you can see through to the outside from the top of the stairs going down because we have a wall of windows down there as well.  We really didn't plan to have a kiddo down there but since we are having to do a switch-a-roo with rooms (I'll explain later) he is moving home soon and will be downstairs. Anyhoo, our downstairs will house our main family room, our middle sons room, a full bath and kitchenette.  I thought it would be fun ...

There Is A Time For Everything ~ Trust His Timing

“My times are in Your hand...” Psalm 31:15

One thing I’ve learned is that God doesn’t always work on our time table. In fact, He rarely does, but, in a single moment, He can change my life! All throughout scripture, we see examples of how God was working behind the scenes and instantly turned things around for His people. ~ His people, those who believe in and trust in Him. Scripture tells us He is the same yesterday, today and forever which means if He did it for them, He can instantly turn things around for me and you, too!

You may be going through some difficulty today, but be encouraged because your times are in God’s hands. Trust that He has your best interest at heart and that He wants to pour out His favor upon you. He wants to take you further than you dreamed possible and work in your life in ways beyond what you have ever imagined.

The full scripture in today's key says "My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly, from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me." Let this truth sink down into your heart today. Resist discouragement by speaking His Word over your future ~ speak and believe He will rescue you from your enemies. Keep standing, keep hoping and keep believing because He is working behind the scenes. Have faith because your times are in His hands, and He will lead you in the life of victory He has for you!

Father, today I humbly come before You giving You all that I am. I trust that my times are in Your hands. I trust that You are working things out in my favor. I set my focus on You knowing that You are working things out for my good in Jesus’ name. Amen.
