Phase 2 of The House Behind The Trees ~ The downstairs #TeelsBuildaHouse

So we are starting the downstairs ... I HATE to say basement because we had a basement in our old home, where you opened a door and went down stairs separated from anything else. It was a finished basement complete with a bedroom, craft room, family/game room and we spent a lot of time there ~ our oldest son moved down there in jr high and stayed through high school ... until we finished the master suite in the attic then he moved back up to the bedroom floor with his brother and sister.  So here our downstairs is open to the rest of the house, you can see through to the outside from the top of the stairs going down because we have a wall of windows down there as well.  We really didn't plan to have a kiddo down there but since we are having to do a switch-a-roo with rooms (I'll explain later) he is moving home soon and will be downstairs. Anyhoo, our downstairs will house our main family room, our middle sons room, a full bath and kitchenette.  I thought it would be fun ...

The Shift is Coming!

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Psalm 84:11

I believe with all my heart that this year, God’s people are coming into a shift. For those who have been faithful and have honored and obeyed God, I declare that through and by His word “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”Job 22:28, He is going to put we believers in a position that we could not have ever gotten into on our own. He is bestowing favor and honor in a fresh, new way!

I declare that a shift is coming, that this year, doors are going to open for us that have not opened before. Whatever we need ~ a shift in health, a shift in finances, or a shift in a relationship ~ what should have taken 40 years to accomplish, God can and is going to do in a split second! We are coming into acceleration, suddenly a dream will come to pass, suddenly a promise will be fulfilled, suddenly the negative situations are going to turn around. The shift means going beyond where we could go on our own. The shift is seeing Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider, do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond. Our attitude should be, “God, I’m ready. I’m taking the limits off of You. I’m enlarging my vision. I may not see a way, but I know You have a way. I declare I’m coming into a shift!”

Don't lose hope ~ it may not look like anything is happening in our natural world, but we serve a supernatural God. He’s about to breathe in our direction, in a new way! The enemies we've have seen in the past, we will see no more. The addictions or bad habits that have held us back are being broken in Jesus’ name. God’s favor is being released in a new way that will propel us forward. Get ready for the surpassing greatness of His favor!


Father, thank You that this year is the year of acceleration! I declare by faith that I am coming into new levels of favor and that a supernatural shift is coming my way. Thank You for Your goodness and for leading me in the path of blessing You have prepared for me. I receive Your Word, I receive Your truth, and I receive the increase You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen. in Jesus’ name. Amen.
