Phase 2 of The House Behind The Trees ~ The downstairs #TeelsBuildaHouse

So we are starting the downstairs ... I HATE to say basement because we had a basement in our old home, where you opened a door and went down stairs separated from anything else. It was a finished basement complete with a bedroom, craft room, family/game room and we spent a lot of time there ~ our oldest son moved down there in jr high and stayed through high school ... until we finished the master suite in the attic then he moved back up to the bedroom floor with his brother and sister.  So here our downstairs is open to the rest of the house, you can see through to the outside from the top of the stairs going down because we have a wall of windows down there as well.  We really didn't plan to have a kiddo down there but since we are having to do a switch-a-roo with rooms (I'll explain later) he is moving home soon and will be downstairs. Anyhoo, our downstairs will house our main family room, our middle sons room, a full bath and kitchenette.  I thought it would be fun ...

Don’t Be Intimidated By Your Enemies

“Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies...” Philippians 1:28

With God on our side, there is no reason to be intimidated by our enemies. We don’t have to be intimidated by poor health, it’s no match for our God ~ sickness and disease cannot keep us from our destiny. We don't have to be intimated by our finances, what we lack is no match for our God ~ our lack cannot keep us from our destiny. We don't have to be intimated by people, they are no match for our God ~ what they say about or do to us cannot keep us from our destiny. God has us (and our destiny) in the palm of His hand, nothing can snatch us away. There is an anointing on our life as children of the Most High that seals us, protects us, enables us and empowers us. God has infused us with strength to face any enemy that comes our way ~ claim and speak Scripture that says "we can do all things through Christ".

No longer can we hang our head, instead we need to go out with confidence, go out with boldness knowing that if God is for us, it doesn’t even matter who is against us ~ GET BEHIND ME SATAN! No foe can stand against the power of Almighty God ~ we are empowered and equipped for victory, so don’t be intimidated!

Father, thank You for empowering me to live in victory no matter what I may be facing. I trust that no matter what comes my way, I am safe in the palm of Your hand. I won’t be intimidated by anything in Jesus’ name! Amen!
