Phase 2 of The House Behind The Trees ~ The downstairs #TeelsBuildaHouse

So we are starting the downstairs ... I HATE to say basement because we had a basement in our old home, where you opened a door and went down stairs separated from anything else. It was a finished basement complete with a bedroom, craft room, family/game room and we spent a lot of time there ~ our oldest son moved down there in jr high and stayed through high school ... until we finished the master suite in the attic then he moved back up to the bedroom floor with his brother and sister.  So here our downstairs is open to the rest of the house, you can see through to the outside from the top of the stairs going down because we have a wall of windows down there as well.  We really didn't plan to have a kiddo down there but since we are having to do a switch-a-roo with rooms (I'll explain later) he is moving home soon and will be downstairs. Anyhoo, our downstairs will house our main family room, our middle sons room, a full bath and kitchenette.  I thought it would be fun ...

Don’t Give Up

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9

Have you ever or are are you currently, believing God for something that is taking longer than you thought or expected? Are you are praying according to His promises, His word? When we pray according to His promises, standing on His word, no matter how long we might have to wait, we can't give up! Our season will and is coming, our blessing is on the way.

It might be today, it might be tomorrow, it might be next week, next month or even next year but remember, at the right time, in His time, we will experience our breakthrough. Be encouraged rather than discouraged because God is faithful, His promises are true. Keep standing, hoping, believing and praying!  Keep doing good and declaring the promises of God over your and/or the persons life you may be praying for. Choose to be around people who are going to encourage you, believe in you and  fill your heart and mind with God’s Word.  As we continue to press on in faith and keep an attitude of victory, we will see our blessings and live as overcomers in every area of our lives.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Fill me with Your strength to keep doing good and help me to keep standing firm until I see my harvest of blessing. Thank You for Your peace and grace in Jesus’ name. Amen
