So we are starting the downstairs ... I HATE to say basement because we had a basement in our old home, where you opened a door and went down stairs separated from anything else. It was a finished basement complete with a bedroom, craft room, family/game room and we spent a lot of time there ~ our oldest son moved down there in jr high and stayed through high school ... until we finished the master suite in the attic then he moved back up to the bedroom floor with his brother and sister.  So here our downstairs is open to the rest of the house, you can see through to the outside from the top of the stairs going down because we have a wall of windows down there as well.  We really didn't plan to have a kiddo down there but since we are having to do a switch-a-roo with rooms (I'll explain later) he is moving home soon and will be downstairs. Anyhoo, our downstairs will house our main family room, our middle sons room, a full bath and kitchenette.  I thought it would be fun ...

Got Peace?

"Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble." Psalms 119:165 
We are living in a time when God wants us to experience His peace like never before. Peace comes from resting in the true knowledge of God. When peace comes in, worry and doubt goes out ~ peace takes over. The enemy is always ready to trip us up and cause us to stumble.  We often can't see beyond the flood waters because we are so focused on the things the enemy floods us with. But Satan isn't the only one that comes into our lives like a flood. God can and will flood us more than the enemy. God's peace also comes in like a flood, a mighty flood and completely overwhelms us which will drown out the enemy.
 
Receive God's peace today. We all need peace (especially in the year of crazy) like never before ~ we need peace about our health, jobs, money, family, and friends. Ask God to open up the windows of heaven and pour out to you a blessing of His peace like you've never experienced before.
 
Like water, peace is the greatest and most powerful spiritual resource we have so receive it! Receive it! Receive it!  I don't know a soul who couldn't use a heavy dose of PEACE, the kind that passes ALL UNDERSTANDING! 
 
Prayer: Oh glory to Your name Father God! I thank You for flooding my heart and mind with Your divine peace. I receive it like a flood! Yes, God! Open up the windows of heaven and pour out Your peace in waves upon waves upon waves in my life. Let me sense Your holy presence and Your power at work for me. Thank You that the enemy will not conquer over me, but I conquer, dominate and am victorious over the enemy through Jesus. Thank You Lord for Your supernatural peace in my life! In the name of Jesus, Amen.
